A warm welcome to Erith School's brand new website.
We are situated in South East London, close to the banks of the River Thames and not far from the Dartford River crossing.
Erith School opened up, back in the 1890's - so we have a long history and proud traditions. The present school (as a bilateral school) started in 1967 and we celebrated our 40th anniversary in September 2007.
We have a long history of being one of the leading schools in the London Borough of Bexley. Our history gives rise to well established traditions and strong values.
We believe we are an exciting school, always striving to improve but at the same time being realistic to the many challenges we face. We are not perfect, but our record of improvement over the last 20 years is second to none. At our last Ofsted inspection in December 2007, we were judged to be "Outstanding".
